Karen Watt, HHP - Karen received her massage education and training at the prestigious Utah College of Massage Therapy.  Upon graduation, she relocated to sunny San Diego to further her massage career.  She broadened her extensive skill set and knowledge by working in various wellness settings from the massage clinics of  five-star resorts and cruise ships, to chiropractic and orthopedic physical therapy clinics.   Today she enjoys the challenge of healing muscular imbalances both in her private practice and clinical settings.  She most values her extensive training in Rolfing which focuses on realigning an imbalanced body.  In addition to that, she practices various in-depth massage techniques such as Deep Tissue, Injury Therapy and Sports Injury Massage.  By using Structural Integration, Karen takes a gentle, progressive approach to organizing the overworked human body. With each therapeutic session, she integrates the soft tissue of the human body by opening and releasing adhesions and restrictions within that asymmetrical tissue.   The result is an integrated and balanced body that is able to function and move without painful restrictions.  With this vast bodywork tool, Karen dedicates herself to healing those with soft tissue imbalances and who suffer from chronic pain.  She also teaches the intriguing modality of myofascial release technique to beginning students of massage therapy for use in a practical setting.  Karen is always looking to further her professional education as well as her experience as to better benefit others.
