| Description: |
In this short series students will explore the many limitations that lead to injury in the everyday tasks we all perform. In order to prevent injury or to deal with its global effects on our lives, we must understand the internal resources inherent in our functinal capacity. As it is said, "it is not what we do but how we do it" that determines the quality of the outcome. Students will gain a deepened experience of their clients' tramas, methods for avoiding furture injury and a repertoire of movements that alleviate spasms and dull aches, whether chronic or acute. Freeing the shoulder girdle and torso as well as mobilizing the hip joints and lower back will leave the student with many strategies for alleviating tension and stress in themselves. |
